Hidden within the pages of a beautifully preserved French publication from 1905 was an exquisite perfume advertisement.
Its Belle Époque ornament, graceful figures, floral garlands and emblematic bee captured a moment when even everyday objects were created as works of art.
Ambre Royal is my invitation to rediscover that art of

A graceful Belle Époque cartouche preserved from the visual world of Ambre Royal, this delicate design brings together elegant lettering, sweeping ornament and one of the most evocative Parisian addresses of its time.
With its generous white space and finely drawn scrollwork, the composition has an unexpected lightness — decorative without being ornate, and distinctly Parisian.
Photographed and carefully restored by Le Parc Arts France from an historic French publication, the artwork preserves the character, fine linework and gentle imperfections of the original printed source.
Reimagined as a framed matte canvas artwork, Paris, 29 Boulevard des Italiens becomes a quiet decorative fragment — a little piece of Belle Époque typography and Parisian visual history.
