Hidden within the pages of a beautifully preserved French publication from 1905 was an exquisite perfume advertisement.
Its Belle Époque ornament, graceful figures, floral garlands and emblematic bee captured a moment when even everyday objects were created as works of art.
Ambre Royal is my invitation to rediscover that art of
living beautifully... elegantly.

The Story Behind Ambre Royal
Paris, circa 1905
Within the pages of a beautifully preserved French publication,
I discovered an exquisite perfume advertisement.
Its Belle Époque ornament, floral garlands, graceful figures
and little emblematic bee immediately captured my imagination.
This was Ambre Royal.
Imagine Paris....1905.
Boulevard des Italiens.
Perfume salons.
Crystal bottles.
Velvet curtains.
Golden mirrors.
The soft trace of perfume in the air.

These pieces inspire my work and form the
foundation of my curated fine‑art collections.
I have been curating my Fine Art Print Collections for
quite some time and as I have been able to work
from original publications.
I have been able to take my time restoring each
artwork with care, preserving the patina, grain,
and gentle imperfections that make
French vintage prints so captivating.
My photography, paintings, and curated collections are
all part of the same world. A world where beauty
is not rushed, where history is valued.
I am often found totally engrossed in discovering
the stories, the inspiration of the captured moments of the time.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist working across oils,
acrylic, watercolours,
photography, digital art, and mixed media.
My Art Practices are deeply rooted in nature,
landscape, magical light, beauty and
the way of life in rural France.
I often find inspiration within the forgotten.
I am totally intrigued by things of old.
I have immersed myself in the art of restoration and
reinvention as part of living a sustainable life.
Taking time to learn the ways of old to give new life
to vintage French treasures , turning them into
timeless pieces of art.

Le Parc Arts France is based in Saint Sulpice les Feuilles, Haute Vienne, France
A quiet beautiful corner of the Limousin countryside, where old stone walls, golden light, and a slower pace of life provide the perfect backdrop for creativity.
Le Parc Arts France was born from a lifelong love of France, art, and a desire to live a more
sustainable creative life.
French people understand the art of slow living.
From the cobblestoned streets of Paris to the
quiet beauty of the Haute-Vienne.
My home has the most incredible energy, built in the 1800’s, it is clear that the original family and the
many that lived and worked here, share my love of serendipity, resilience, and the
pursuit of all things beautiful.
As an Artist I love to share my creative discoveries,
original art, photography, and creative practices - celebrating French life, vintage beauty, and the joy of creating wherever inspiration is found.
